On-Site Services

We are able to provide space for testing, interviewing or screening your applicants.  We can take all applications and resumes at our office and forward them to you for processing.  In addition, we have computers with Internet access, Fax machine, photocopier and telephones, free of charge, to assist with your business needs. We can arrange special hiring events for your company and include you in our scheduled Job Fairs.

Employee Development & Training Programs

On-The-Job-Training (OJT)

If you are interested in hiring an applicant who doesn’t quite meet your entry-level needs, you may be eligible for a 50 per cent reimbursement of wages by agreeing to train the applicant on the job.  An OJT is subject to the applicant’s eligibility for funding under our federal program Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

Workshops

Some of your prospective or current employees may need some computer software "brushing up" in order to handle some of your workforce requirements.  We have Training available in our computer lab for Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel, and Mavis-Beacon Typing, free of charge.
